This project transformed a GMC Sierra 2500 HD into a rugged, multi-purpose workhorse designed for industrial job sites and long-range utility. By combining heavy-duty plate armor with high-capacity fuel storage and visibility upgrades, we created a vehicle that provides both superior physical protection and enhanced field capabilities.

Work Performed & Benefits

  • Heavy-Duty Armor Overhaul: Replaced factory bumpers with high-clearance, texture-coated steel bumpers (front and rear) to provide maximum impact protection and improved approach/departure angles.
  • Off-Road Utility Lighting: Integrated flush-mount LED pods into the front and rear bumpers to ensure 360-degree visibility during night operations and job site maneuvering.
  • Fuel & Storage Integration: Installed a DeeZee auxiliary fuel tank and tool box combo in the bed, complete with a GPI transfer pump and nozzle for refueling equipment on-site.
  • Cargo & Cab Protection: Mounted a BackRack headache rack to protect the rear window from shifting cargo while providing a mounting point for additional lighting or gear.
  • Enhanced Body Styling: Equipped the vehicle with bolt-style fender flares and side steps to accommodate the wider stance and protect the body panels from road debris and gravel.
  • All-Terrain Stance: Fitted the truck with aggressive all-terrain tires on blacked-out alloy wheels to ensure reliable traction in muddy or unpaved industrial environments.
