Can-Am Defender

This project focused on upgrading a Can-Am Defender HD10 6x6 into a high-utility workhorse with premium interior comfort and rugged exterior protection. We balanced a sophisticated overhead audio system with heavy-duty front-end armor to ensure this UTV is as capable at the job site as it is on the trail.

Work Performed & Benefits

• High-Fidelity Audio Integration: Installed a custom overhead console featuring a Diamond Audio source unit and a four-speaker array for immersive, 360-degree sound inside the cab.
• Rugged Front-End Protection: Replaced the factory bumper with a heavy-duty, high-clearance front bumper featuring an integrated bull bar and winch mount for superior trail protection and recovery capability.
• Auxiliary Trail Lighting: Mounted dual LED pod lights within the bumper's protected housing to improve visibility during early morning or late-night operations.
• Recovery Readiness: Integrated a front-mounted winch with a heavy-duty hook, providing essential self-rescue and pulling power for demanding off-road tasks.
• Weather-Ready Cabin: Retained the flip-up windshield functionality, allowing for maximum airflow in the summer or a fully sealed cabin during inclement weather.

• Primary Audio: Diamond Audio Motorsport Series Bluetooth Source Unit.
• Speakers: (4) Diamond Audio HXM52 Motorsport Series 5.25" Marine Coaxial Speakers.
• Antenna: Metra AntennaWorks Amplified Electronic AM/FM Universal Antenna.
• Front Bumper: Heavy-duty steel bumper with integrated bull bar and winch fairlead. Bumper is bulletproof (a made in Alberta product).‍
• Lighting: Dual Square LED Auxiliary Pod Lights.‍
